AEW Superstar Chris Jericho Potential Return To WWE

AEW superstar Chris Jericho recently shared his thoughts on his in-ring career, particularly the potential for a return to WWE. With talents like Bryan Danielson and Mercedes Mone making their way to AEW after their time in WWE, and former AEW stars such as Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill, and Ethan Page transitioning to WWE, the conversation around roster changes between the two promotions remains lively.

Jericho, who first rose to fame in WWE before becoming the inaugural AEW World Champion, discussed the possibility of one last run with WWE during a conversation with Comicbook. He expressed his current satisfaction with his role in AEW under Tony Khan’s leadership, stating:

“I enjoyed my time in WWE and wouldn’t rule out a return in the future. But at this moment, I’m very happy with AEW. We’ve achieved a lot since our inception, especially with our new TV deal.

“Our goal was to make a significant impact on the wrestling landscape—Tony, myself, and the entire AEW team have accomplished that. It feels like a satisfying rebuttal to those who doubted us. The success of our recent television deal and the financial backing we’ve secured are just the beginning; we’re on the rise and not going anywhere.

“At this stage, there’s really no compelling reason for me to look elsewhere. I enjoy my work with the Khan family and the direction AEW is headed. I’m content.”
