Bryan Danielson’s Full-Time Career Ends as Jon Moxley Secures AEW World Championship

The much-anticipated match between Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley at AEW WrestleDream 2024 has concluded, leaving fans with significant developments to discuss. The most striking outcome is that, according to a stipulation set by Danielson himself, he has officially ended his full-time wrestling career.

In a contest that featured the AEW World Championship, Jon Moxley emerged victorious against Danielson in the main event. During the intense match, Danielson found himself trapped in a chokehold; although he did not submit, the referee determined he had lost consciousness and called for the bell, signaling Moxley’s win.

However, the post-match events escalated dramatically. Following his victory, Moxley, along with Marina Shafir, Claudio Castagnoli, and Pac, launched a brutal assault on the incapacitated Danielson.

Darby Allin and Wheeler Yuta rushed to the ring, seemingly to assist Danielson. However, in a shocking turn of events, Yuta turned on Allin at Moxley’s prompting, then proceeded to place a plastic bag over Danielson’s head, reminiscent of Moxley’s earlier actions at AEW All Out.

As more wrestlers from the locker room emerged to intervene, Moxley and his faction retreated. The show concluded with medical personnel and fellow wrestlers attending to Danielson, who was being prepared for a stretcher evacuation, underscoring the severity of the situation.
