AEW Star Anthony Henry Faces Surgery for Torn Biceps Injury

Anthony Henry, a wrestler for AEW and ROH, has confirmed that his recent surgery was a success after sustaining a torn bicep during a match.

On October 3, Henry faced off against NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion Gabe Kidd during the ROH TV taping. Following this match, he took to social media to reveal that he had torn his left bicep off the bone.

Recently, Henry shared a post on Twitter featuring a photo of himself in an arm brace post-surgery. He expressed his determination to begin his recovery journey, stating:

“Surgery was successful. Now time to recover.”

Since returning from a broken jaw injury in May, Henry has made appearances on both AEW and ROH television. His last match on AEW programming occurred on the September 14 episode of Collision, where he faced Wheeler Yuta and unfortunately suffered a loss.

In Ring of Honor, Henry has been teaming up with his second cousin, BEEF.

We extend our best wishes to Anthony Henry for a safe and speedy recovery.
