A new contender has emerged for Jon Moxley following his victory at WrestleDream 2024, where he captured the AEW World Championship.
After Moxley triumphed over Bryan Danielson to secure the AEW World Championship and conclude WrestleDream 2024, another AEW talent expressed his desire for a rematch with the newly crowned champion.
Lance Archer shared a throwback graphic from the first anniversary of AEW Dynamite in 2020, which showcased then-champion Jon Moxley defending his title against Archer. The rejuvenated Archer responded with enthusiasm.
Having transitioned from being managed by Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts to now teaming up with Don Callis, Archer has proposed himself as Moxley’s inaugural challenger.
Lance Archer stated:
“Why not again!”
In a recent backstage segment, it was announced that Don Callis would take over the management of the ‘Murderhawk’ Lance Archer, while Jake Roberts has now taken on RUSH in a talent exchange.
Roberts appears to be managing La Faccion Ingobernables, which includes RUSH, The Beast Mortos, and Dralistico.
Jon Moxley defeated Bryan Danielson to become the first four-time AEW World Champion at WrestleDream 2024, held at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, WA.
