Currently on tour in the UK, Cody Rhodes made an appearance on BBC Radio, where he discussed the prospects of hosting a WrestleMania across the Atlantic.
In his conversation with the BBC, Cody stated:
“‘Should’ it happen here? Absolutely, yes. ‘Can’ it happen here? I also firmly believe that’s a resounding yes. When John Cena comes out and says, ‘Hey, we should have a WrestleMania in the United Kingdom,’ at that moment, I’m not sure if that was already on the agenda. I can’t say whether it was even being considered.
“However, when the greatest of all time—who we affectionately refer to as John—makes that statement, it almost manifests into reality.
“You mentioned the Mayor of London and his discussions with Triple H and Nick Khan—I’m genuinely excited to see how that situation develops, as I believe it’s now more feasible than it was just a week ago.
“If I had to guess—and I don’t have any inside information—I’d love to see it happen within the next five years. There are some incredibly large venues here that would be perfect for hosting a WrestleMania.”
Cody also referenced the earlier meetings in London between Paul Levesque (Triple H) and Nick Khan, which generated buzz several months ago, particularly regarding the Mayor of London.
In April 2025, WWE will mark the return of WrestleMania to Las Vegas for the first time in over 30 years, as the two-night event takes place at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
