Former AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm is officially set to make her highly anticipated debut in Ring of Honor (ROH).
After a four-month break from the ring, Storm made her return to AEW during the December 11th episode of Dynamite for the Winter is Coming special. Her return came immediately after the intense Women’s World Title match between Mariah May and Mina Shirakawa, catching the audience off guard.
What was most surprising to fans, as well as to Mariah May, was Storm’s decision to return not as her well-known ‘Timeless’ character but as the persona she originally presented when she first joined AEW. This unexpected shift in character has left many questioning what’s next for the Australian star.
In the weeks that followed, it became clear that Toni Storm seemed to have no memory of her past experiences in AEW. She’s been acting as though she has only just recently joined the company, presenting herself as a completely new competitor, which has added an intriguing layer to her character development.
While Storm may be exploring this “new” persona within AEW, she is also preparing for a historic moment in her career. On December 26, she will step into the ring for her first-ever match in Ring of Honor at the Boxing Day Brawl event. This marks a new chapter in her wrestling journey, and fans are eager to see how she will fare in ROH.
