Kevin Owens has openly addressed his recent altercations with Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton, shedding light on his feelings towards WWE’s handling of the situation.
In a social media video, Owens expressed his belief that WWE has attempted to “silence” him in light of recent events, particularly by not allowing him to share his perspective.
In the video, Owens stated:
“Since the Bad Blood event, there have been numerous inquiries about my actions towards Cody. I’ve faced considerable judgment as well, with many people quick to critique my decisions. While I would love to clarify my stance and share my viewpoint, WWE has prevented me from doing so.
“In fact, they seem to be doing the exact opposite, trying to stifle my voice. They instructed me to stay home last Friday and didn’t allow me to appear on SmackDown, despite my rightful place being there. When I showed up anyway, they cut my microphone and took measures to ensure I couldn’t speak.
“Additionally, I sent them a video over the weekend that I hoped would be featured on Raw last night, but it was not aired. Consequently, no one got to hear my thoughts, even though there was ample time for Cody to speak.
“The last thing I want is to resort to social media for this, as it’s not my preference. Therefore, I’m giving them until this Friday on WWE SmackDown to air my video so that my voice can be heard. If they choose not to, I’ll have no choice but to share it here myself.”
Kevin Owens’ recent aggression towards Cody Rhodes followed WWE’s Bad Blood event, with an additional confrontation involving Randy Orton on SmackDown last Friday. His discontent appears to be linked to Rhodes’ decision to ally with Roman Reigns, with Orton supporting that partnership.
