WWE star Rhea Ripley has addressed a comment from a so-called ‘fan’ who expressed hope that she would sustain an injury during a segment on Monday Night Raw.
Ripley remains focused on capturing Liv Morgan’s WWE Women’s World Championship and teamed up with Tiffany Stratton to face Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez in the October 14 episode of Raw. This match followed an earlier segment where Ripley and Stratton were attacked by Morgan and Rodriguez.
During the opening beatdown, Ripley took a significant hit, landing headfirst on Stratton’s high heel after receiving a superkick from Raquel Rodriguez.
In response to the backlash, Ripley took to her Instagram story to share reactions from Twitter users mocking the incident. She specifically called out one comment that expressed a desire for her to be injured, saying:
“But I’m the bad person…
Literally wishing for me to get hurt and laughing about it.
Maybe some of y’all should look in the mirror 😘”
In contrast to the playful banter, AJ Styles is currently dealing with a real injury he sustained during a match on the October 4 episode of SmackDown. The specifics of Styles’ injury have now been confirmed.
