Tama Tonga has seemingly hinted at major WWE creative plans that may involve The Rock and The Bloodline.
It’s been six weeks since The Rock made a surprise appearance at the conclusion of the Bad Blood Premium Live Event in Atlanta, Georgia. Since then, fans have been left speculating, with no further sightings of The Great One and no clear indication of WWE’s direction for his storyline.
One of the most discussed theories among the WWE universe is that The Rock may be orchestrating the direction of Solo Sikoa’s revamped version of The Bloodline. This faction, which has ousted Roman Reigns, now includes Jacob Fatu, Tonga Loa, and Tama Tonga as its new members.
When Rock appeared at Bad Blood, footage captured Solo Sikoa saying that The Rock’s appearance was part of “the plan,” adding fuel to the theory that The Rock could be secretly guiding the group behind the scenes.
Further fueling the speculation, recent footage from Friday’s SmackDown showed Tama Tonga making a throat-cut gesture reminiscent of one The Rock used at Bad Blood. This led one Twitter user to claim this was confirmation that The Rock was indeed pulling the strings for The Bloodline from a distance. Tonga’s response to the tweet? A simple “Shhhhhhhh.”
While this could simply be playful teasing, it does hint that the mystery surrounding The Rock’s involvement with The Bloodline could soon come to light.
We’ll continue to provide updates on WWE’s plans for The Rock as new information becomes available.
In the meantime, it’s now confirmed that Bronson Reed has officially aligned himself with The Bloodline following the events of this past Friday’s SmackDown.
