The suspense surrounding Owens’ partner ended when it was revealed to be Ricky Gibson. However, the excitement escalated further when WWE legend Randy Orton made a surprise appearance, quickly taking center stage. As the match progressed, Owens delivered a stunning Stunner to Ricky, marking a swift victory for the newly formed team, RKOwens.
While Ricky Gibson faced a tough outing in his SmackDown debut, the wrestler has since made headlines by appearing at the ROH (Ring of Honor) tapings on October 8, 2024. As shared in a recent tweet, Gibson participated in the Spokane tapings for HonorClub.
In this event, Ricky teamed up with Eddie Pearl from Midnight Heat to battle the dynamic duo of Mason Madden and Mansoor, collectively known as the MxM Collection. This isn’t the first time Midnight Heat has made waves in the wrestling world; they previously competed in a dark match on AEW Dynamite. In that bout, they faced off against The Dark Order, comprising Alex Reynolds, Evil Uno, and John Silver, on May 15, 2024.
