Uncertainty Surrounds Major WWE PLE Plans in the United Kingdom

WWE fans in the United Kingdom have a reason to be excited as two major cities, Manchester and Birmingham, have emerged as front-runners to host the 2025 WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event (PLE).

Following the success of the 2024 WWE Elimination Chamber in Perth, Australia, which broke attendance records, the focus has shifted to finding the next ideal location for this high-profile event. WrestleVotes, a trusted source for WWE news, has recently provided an update, revealing that London is now also in consideration, with The O2 arena being a potential venue. WrestleVotes Radio reported:

“Along with Birmingham and Manchester, London is now on the board with The O2 arena as being a possible location. The show is to be arena-sized and not stadium-based.”

While the UK is currently a strong contender, the decision is not yet finalized. WrestleVotes also noted:

“Other countries have certainly enquired, and there is significant interest in the show being held in Canada as well. So with that said, I would say the United Kingdom is definitely still the favourite. However, to be determined, as Canada has jumped in kind of the last minute here.”

The WWE Elimination Chamber event in 2023 was held in Montreal, Quebec, and Toronto, Ontario hosted this year’s Money in the Bank. Additionally, WWE Survivor Series: WarGames is scheduled for November 30, 2024, at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The prospect of hosting WWE Elimination Chamber in the United Kingdom also raises the potential for more international PLEs between WrestleMania and SummerSlam, creating even more excitement for WWE fans worldwide.
